This week, come with us to the Caribbean island of Hispaniola, home to two countries: Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Maranatha has worked in both nations over the years, but our significant contributions in the Dominican Republic have led to a large increase in membership for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Four decades ago, there were only around 27,000 Adventists in the Dominican Republic; now, there are about 380,000! That is 14 times the original membership. Your kids will see how Maranatha volunteers have made a difference in the Dominican Republic throughout our history, and how they’ll soon be helping there again once more.
