Ann’s Sacrifice
22-Mar-2022

Did You Know?
- Charcoal is made by burning wood in a low oxygen environment, such as covering a wood pile with grass and dirt before setting the wood on fire. You’ll often see people making charcoal in villages, and then they will sell bags of it on the side of the road.
- About 80% of households on the African continent rely on charcoal for energy. They use it to cook and to heat their homes.
