Faith Over Failure
14-Oct-2021
This week, meet Sonia Feraude and her husband Simon Choque, two of the founding members of the Chimba Seventh-day Adventist congregation in Bolivia. These small business owners tried a number of outreach activities in their community to bring people to their congregation. Each time there would be a positive reaction, but the excitement would fade when people realized there was no church building to meet in. Although disappointed, Sonia and Simon continued trying. They also moved forward in faith with the purchase of land for a new church building, even though they didn’t have enough money to construct a church.
Your kids will see how these two Adventists were not deterred by failure and learn how Maranatha helped. They’ll also consider how to handle failure and what the Bible says about it.
