This week, we’ll be learning about the fascinating country of India! There are many unique aspects of this country, from the languages to the clothing to the religions. Your kids will get a taste for what India is like and meet a student at the Khunti Adventist School named Arzoo Warsi. Arzoo grew up Muslim, but is learning a lot about Jesus and Christianity at school. The Khunti school, and others like it, are helping to spread God’s love in India, but they can’t reach more children without additional space. See how Maranatha is increasing the capacity at schools across India, allowing more kids to have a high-quality Adventist education.

- Trying to describe God, Jesus, and the Bible to someone who has never heard of them can be difficult. One way we can help people from other religions understand Christianity is to explain how it compares to their own. In the Bible, Paul shared Jesus with a lot of people who didn’t know anything about Him. They had never heard about the God of the Bible, so Paul had to find a special way to explain Him. You can read about one of these stories in Acts 17:22-31. While in the city of Athens, where the people worshipped many different gods, Paul had noticed an altar that was for “an Unknown God.” He explained that even though they didn’t realize it, they were already worshipping Paul’s God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Some of the people he explained this to began to worship the one true God. Just like Paul got creative to explain God, how could you explain Christianity to someone who doesn’t know anything about God, Jesus, or the Bible?
