Each year, Maranatha participates in a global day of giving called “GivingTuesday.” This year it falls on December 3, and we’ll be focusing on bringing clean water to 24 communities in need (24 in ’24!). According to the United Nations, in 2022 around 2.2 billion people lacked safely managed drinking water. Since 2008, Maranatha has been doing its part to help. We’ve drilled more than 3,400 wells. That’s more than nearly 700,000 feet of drilling! And we’ve repaired or maintained more than 1,910 existing wells. Each point of water is critical to the wellbeing of hundreds of people in thousands of villages around the globe.

When Maranatha drills a new well, hygiene increases, illness is reduced, families have more time together and for education or livelihoods. We’re drilling wells in Kenya and other countries of need, but we need your help. The well program desperately needs more funding, and for #GivingTuesday we’re asking our entire community to give $240,000 for 24 wells. Will you make a gift?
